These Hocus Pocus inspired Cricut iron-on shirts will put a spell on your whole family.
Hocus Pocus fans unite!
At our house, we love Hocus Pocus. We watch it all year round.
So this year I decided to create some Hocus Pocus themed shirts.
I made three different Hocus Pocus inspired designs. But before I get to those let’s talk about the supply list.
Supplies:
Cricut Maker
Cricut standard grip mat
Cricut iron-on light black
Cricut iron-on light yellow
Cricut foil iron-on purple
Cricut EasyPress 2, 10 x 12
Cricut EasyPress 2 large mat
Cricut weeding tools
Thackery Binx cut file
I Put a Spell On You cut file
I Lit the Black Flame Candle cut file
The first one is Thackery Binx. He’s one of my favorite characters. And it’s one of the first spells that you see.
The Thackery Binx shirt has the spell that turns him into a black cat cut out of the black cat image.
You can find the full tutorial on my post here.
The second shirt that I made is one of the most famous lines from the movie.
I Put a Spell on you and now you’re mine.
I decided to put it in some cauldron smoke cloud.
I made the cloud out of the purple foil Cricut iron-on. There are some stars around it as well to make it look more magical.
Then the cloud is above a cauldron. You could probably put it closer to the cauldron and if you chose or even coming out of it. But I liked it above.
The third and final shirt from my Hocus Pocus series of shirts I made for my three-year-old.
He’s very mischievous. And if he knew how to do it I’m sure he would do exactly what his shirt says.
It says “I lit the black flame candle”.
As every Hocus Pocus fan knows there would be no return of the Sanderson sisters without someone lighting the black flame candle.
I lined all of the words center and made each line the same width so that it made a big tall block of text.
Then I added a black flame on top. Thus making the text look like the black flame candle.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them.
And I hope that you have a very spooky Halloween.
