I thought Thor would have fun sorting Easter eggs for tot school this week.
I purchased a few these bags of plastic Easter eggs from Target. They were $2 for 48 eggs. There are eight different colors in the bag, six of each color.
I pulled out all except the pink and purple ones. I had a dozen of this pretty mint, the soft red, the lime green, orange, soft blue, and the mustard-y yellow.
Then I mixed them all up in a basket and let him go.
He wasn’t too interested in sorting them by color, although were did talk about the colors he was picking up.
Then he decided that it would be a better activity if we used tongs. His tong skills have done a total 180 since we started tot school. The first time I handed them to him he got so frustrated because he couldn’t make them work, let alone pick anything up. But now give him a pair of tongs and he can do anything.
If you have kids a that are a little older you can also try putting the eggs in the cartons in patterns.
Be sure to check out this other Easter post from a fellow Bloggerette.
