My husband made honey sriracha glazed chicken for me the other night and it was just too delicious to keep to ourselves. It’s sweet and spicy and yummlicious.
Sriracha is the hot condiment of the moment. If you are like me, a little can go a long way to adding a spicy kick to any dish. It is only 2,000 scoville units, which is less than half of a jalapeño pepper. So if you are into spicy things, this is a great condiment to add to your refrigerator. My brother-in-law loves spicy things and puts sriracha on almost everything. We joke about how he should just keep some in his pocket or buy it in the little packets so he always has some.
- 1/2 cup Teriyaki Sauce (We love Soy Vay)
- 1/4 cup Sriracha
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 1 lb Chicken
- 1 bag of Stir-fry vegetables
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Cut up chicken into bite sized pieces. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a wok over medium heat. Put chicken into wok and cook thoroughly.
- While chicken is cooking make the sauce. Whisk together teriyaki sauce, sriracha, and honey.
- Pour sauce on cooked chicken and simmer until it thickens slightly and coats all the pieces of chicken. Move chicken and glaze from wok. (I put it all in the bowl I made the glaze in.)
- Cook stir-fry vegetables according to instructions.
- Serve over rice or noodles. Garnish with sesame seeds.
- Note: Taste the sauce before you glaze it over the chicken to see if the heat is right. If it’s too spicy add more teriyaki sauce. If it’s not hot enough give it another shot or two (or three) of sriracha.

This looks so yummy! I’m not a HUGE fan of super spicy things, so I think I would put a little less sriracha. But yum! Sweet and spicy together are a great combo! And my brother loves sriracho so much! For his bday I got him a sriracha cook book, even though of course you can add it to everything!

HUGE fan of this! I literally cannot get enough of this spicy delight- have you tried Lays sriracha chips? They are heavenly. Anyway – I’m totally pinning this. Can’t wait!
