I have been planning to start eating clean for a while now. That was one of my goals for this year. The trick to that is that you have to actually do it. Wanting to and doing are two very different things. So, in the spirit if doing, I have started focusing on simple clean recipes. I am simplifying my food.
- I’m talking recipes that have a short ingredients list. It can’t be a simple recipe if you have to assemble 30 ingredients to make it.
- Recipes that have natural, clean ingredients. If a food has ingredients that I can’t pronounce I don’t want it. I am also cutting back on processed foods and ingredients such as white sugar and flour.
- Recipes that are super delicious and satisfying while still being good for you. Eating healthier doesn’t mean that you have to eat carrot sticks all the time. If food isn’t delicious, I won’t eat it on a regular basis.
