Are you envious of those with mermaid hair? Do you want long, luxurious locks? Me too. Well, my hair is long, but I want it to be longer. So I decided to try to making some DIY mermaid hair spray.
Who else loves mermaids? Me!! They always seem to have such long perfect hair. Okay. I know that they aren’t real, but a girl can dream. I also would love some long gorgeous hair.
Yes, I could totally get hair extensions, but I don’t want to do that. I would rather keep it all natural. So when I came across this pin a while back I added it to my list of things to try.
I finally made some up. It’s really simple. It’s just a mix of essential oils and a carrier.
Add all the essential oils to the glass spray bottle and then add the witch hazel. You want to use alcohol-free witch hazel so that it’s not drying to your hair and scalp.
Shake and spray in your hair at the roots and massage in. You can add some to the ends as well for a full hair care. Use it after you get out of the shower, before bedtime, or any other time you want.
I love the way it smells. I did just start using it so I can’t say for sure if it really helps promote hair growth, but it can’t hurt. And who knows? Maybe I can have mermaid hair by the summer. My hair is already past my shoulders after all.
Have you tried this spray before? I would love to hear how it worked for you.
