Learn how to curve text in Cricut Design Space.
You have a great idea for a design, but where is that dang button to curve the text?
Sorry to burst your bubble. There isn’t one. But I am here to teach how to do it anyway.
The way to do it in Design Space is manually. Don’t be scare. It’s not hard.
First, you type out your text. It can be one word or several.
Next, make a circle with the shape tool. It needs to be as big as you want your curve to be.
Then, you will highlight your word and ungroup them by clicking the ungroup button in the upper right corner or by right-clicking and selecting ungroup.
You then will move each letter individually, using the circle as a guide. When a letter is selected you can tilt it using the tool in the upper right corner of the box.
By moving the letters and tilting them you can make your text curved. You can even use the align tool if you need help spacing.
Once you are satisfied you delete the circle and regroup all the letters into one word.
Attach it to your mat for cutting and then you are done.

Now that you have your new font to play with, are the letters spaced too far apart? That happens a lot with script text. Check out my post on font spacing for some tips and tricks!
