I don’t know what it is about the phrase “the bee’s knees”. I just like it. And I love Burt’s Bees products. So that got me thinking that the two combined would make a pretty amazing Valentine.
So I went to my computer and whipped one up. And when I say “whipped one up” I mean made one up real quick, had my laptop die before I saved, once I got my computer plugged in and back on all the work I had done was gone, so I had to start over. So really I made this twice. That’s how much I liked it.
It’s it so cute? I love the ombre honeycombs. Totally worth the re-do.
All you need are the valentines, a gift, and a way to attach said gift. Super simple.
I printed them out on cardstock and cut the cards apart. Then I used a black and white stripe washi tape (because, you know, bees have stripes) to attach a Burt’s Bees lip shimmer.
I love the Burt’s Bees lip shimmers. Have you tried them? Then had a pretty sheen to them. Plus every shade that I have tried has looked great. The are all soft subtle colors, even when they look dark. I picked some up on clearance a while back so I thought this Valentine would be a great way to use some of them up and share the Burt’s Bees goodness.
Oh, you want to hand some out to your friends too? Great. I made two awesome printables, so you can easily make these super cute Valentines. Two cards to a page. Or four cards to a page. I used the four cards to a page since they were a perfect fit for the lip shimmers.
You could also attach it to a beeswax candle. Or a necklace with a bee charm. Or even a honey stick. What are you going to use it for?
