This Disney World inspired sipping caramel is divine. The Caramel Kiss is just two ingredients and will wow your guests at any occasion.
A few weeks ago we took Thor and Loki to Disney World. It was a ton of fun. We even got to go to the new Star Wars Launch Bay and meet Darth Vader and Chewbacca.
This was a totally difference experience from all my other trips to Disney. Usually it’s really fast pace as we race from ride to ride. But with two little kids we didn’t ride all the things we normally do. We saw a LOT of characters. I had no idea there were so many out all the time or that there were places where there are characters all day long.

Disney World has this thing called Memory Maker, which is a little pricey, but so worth it in my opinion. I am not sure if it is available in Disneyland yet. Basically it is a photo pass. There are photographers set up all over the parks everywhere you would want a picture. Down Main Street. In front of Cinderella’s castle. With all the characters. Everywhere. You just get in line and they will take your picture. Then you have them scan your ticket or wristband and the photos automatically upload to your account. No finding a stranger to do it for you. They even edit some to add characters. We have a couple with Olaf or Tinkerbell. You don’t have to have Memory Maker to use the photographers, but then you have to pay per picture you want to purchase. Also, if you ride something that takes a photo, like Splash Mountain, those will upload to your account as well. How cool is that? We have SO many photos from Memory Maker so it was totally worth it for us.
We also ate way more park food than we should have. Of course my favorite stuff came from Epcot. If you have ever visited Epcot you know that the food is delicious. My favorite thing that I had this trip came from Germany. It is called a Caramel Kiss and it is FANTASTIC.
Ricky was in line at the snack place to get a drink and I was standing in the shade with the stroller. All of the sudden I got a whiff of something amazing. I didn’t know where it was coming from but I knew it was caramel and I wanted. Just then Ricky comes walking over with a drink and a little mug of something. He said he got me something called a Caramel Kiss because everyone in front of him was buying one. I knew right away after taking the first sip I was going to have to make one when I got home.
It is basically a sipping caramel and it is so easy to make. Just two ingredients you can get anywhere. The main ingredient is Werther’s chewy caramels.
- 16 Werther’s chewy caramels
- 1/2 cup milk
- Over a low medium head melt caramels.
- Whisk in milk. Mix until smooth.
- Heat until steaming, but do not boil.
- Serve immediately.
Once you try it you will be addicted too. We almost walked all the way back to Germany to get another one. But then sense or laziness got the better of us. We didn’t really need another one and Germany was pretty far.
