These rice crispy treat kisses are perfect for Valentine’s day. They look like giant Hershey kisses with a crispy treat center.
I love rice crispy treats. I can eat a whole pan all by myself. I try not to. But I totally can. And I totally don’t want to share with you. Sorry.
So it seemed like the right thing to do to make some with the intent of sharing. And what better shape to make them in than a giant Hershey’s kiss?
In order to get the kiss shape you use a funnel as a mold. I used a Tupperware one that my mom has had forever, but I found this similar one {affiliate} if you need to get one. I don’t think you can have them shaped like a kiss if there’s no chocolate. So I dipped the bottoms in chocolate for an extra special treat.
- 16 oz marshmallows
- 7 cups rice crispies
- 2 T butter
- Melted chocolate (optional)
- Cooking spray
- Parchment
- Funnel
- Foil
- Lay out a sheet of parchment (or use a silpat) to place brains on to cool.
- Melt butter in a pot over medium low heat. Add marshmallows and melt completely stirring consistently to prevent burning.
- Add rice crispies. Stir to coat completely.
- Coat inside of funnel with cooking spray (or coconut oil or butter). Fill funnel with rice crispy mixture and press into funnel firmly.
- Take the rice crispy kiss out of the funnel and set on parchment to cool.
- Repeat to use up all the rice crispies.
- When the kisses have cooled dip or drizzle with chocolate.
- Wrap completed kisses in foil.
I created this printable for these cute flags so you can add them to your rice crispy kisses too. I cut mine in 1.5 inch strips and tucked them in the final side of the foil as I wrapped the treats up.
How perfect are these for Valentine’s day?
