Use baking soda and vinegar as a fun way to tie dye your Easter eggs.
Thor really loves science. One of his favorite science activities is mixing baking soda a vinegar. I have to admit, I love it too. It is just so fun to watch the fizzy reaction.
So when I saw that you could mix this chemical reaction with dying Easter eggs I knew that would be a hit. We had a lot of fun painting the eggs and watching the baking soda foam around them. Plus the eggs turned out all fun and tie dye looking.
Thor’s favorite part was painting. I have to admit, that was pretty fun. But my favorite part was adding drops of dye directly to the eggs. I loved making new color combos. Thor wanted to add all the colors to all the eggs. So if it were up to him we would have two dozen brown marbled Easter eggs. Luckily he wasn’t allowed to touch the drops so we ended up with some beauties.
